Leukemia & Lymphoma Society – “Light the Night Walk”
I lost my precious mother-in-law Lois Jane Benjamin to Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Lois was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in July 2017 and took her last breath on 01-20-2018. Lois was the kindest, most loving and caring person you would ever meet. She was an amazing musician who was passionate about her music. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family with her all her heart and would do anything for her family. Most importantly, Lois loved the Lord with all her heart, mind and soul. She is now in heaven with our Lord and Savior and is no longer suffering.
I have supported Joyce Meyer Ministries for a number of years now. Joyce Meyer has an amazing story of overcoming a brutally painful childhood where she dealt with years of sexual abuse from her father. Joyce’s story and her love of the Lord make her preaching style very real and personal. She has an amazing way of letting you know that no matter what has happened to you in your life you can overcome it through our Savior Jesus Christ. She is also an amazing writer and has written numerous books. I have been to many of her conferences and have enjoyed her tapes and books for years now. The word that comes to mind when I am at one of her conferences is electrifying. Joyce has overcome tremendous heart ache and is wonderful example of God’s amazing grace and forgiveness.
